Having a Roommate

So having a roommate can be awesome for some people, but for some it can be rather annoying especially when you're just getting to know this person. At times....well especially for  females personalities don't clash and sometimes it does and that's not always a good thing. Some people like having their own space especially for someone like me who likes to meditate and listen music out loud. I have my days I just want to
blast loud music and dance around in my room to keep myself in a good mood but you know those judging eyes? The best time for me to study is when it hits 12:00 am and guess what? Hmmm that's when my roommates wants to sleep and would love for the lights to be out. Now that's something I cannot work with so often times she has to suck it up and sleep with the lights on.

I hate having a nosey roommate who tries to be all up in your business. You keep getting questions like "who just call?" "Who are you skyping" "where you going", "why are you just coming in?" "where are you coming from?", "Is that your boyfriend?"  Damnnn boo why are you asking all those questions? So having a roommate can turn into real friendships but the way I look at it is in a couple months from this we're going to separate maybe live different places therefore you don't need to hear all about my personal business.
Another thing for girls especially me you know when  its your time of the month and you're all miserable and just want to be on your own locked in a room with no noise or distraction to clog your space it can be rather annoying having a roommate then mostly because you can't get the privacy you really want.

I'm sure most of us can agree with this one. We're all university students right and I can safely assume that most of us are adults. You know when your significant other comes to visit and you just want the room to yourself not necessarily to do anything but just to have some alone time with him/her and then your roommate is either rushing you or needs the room. Don't you just get super frustrated by the fact that there is nothing you can really do about it since its their room too?

So I'm not saying everything about having a roommate is bad. There are times when its good like the fact that sometimes you just want someone to hold a deep late night medz with  and you can just have that chat with your roommate. For girls you want someone to help you with your hair, picking out clothes when you have somewhere special going, helping with your make-up. There are also times when you're too sick to do anything and your roommate would just offer to help. Now there is something good to appreciate.

So having a roommate can be both good and bad.
